The knee pads was returned by a customer, it was tried once and the metal piece slipped out of position due to it being slightly open. The knee pads are washed, and the metal piece is placed back into position, and tested. The metal piece is very stong, and this was probably not fully locked into position from the manufactor. The knee pads should function properly and stay securely in position as long as the knee pads are used correctly, following the guide in the product describtion.

HOW TO WEAR:
- Wear the knee pad with the triangle pointing upward toward the thigh and the strap positioned below your knee.
- The logo tag should be positioned on the outside of the leg, which also places the metal hook on the outside.This positioning helps:
– prevent the hook from pressing into the skin when the knee bends or during pole grips
– reduce friction between the hardware and the pole
– reduce stress on the leather tab, helping it last longer
